Heater Installations

Leading up to and during the Winter periods we are frequently asked to install Heaters for residential customers.

The type of Heaters we use are fan forced heaters and panel heaters.

When a customer has a heater, with a minimum of 3.5kw, installed in the main living area of the house, they can qualify for Hydro Heat.

Hydro Heat is heating connected to the Hot Water tariff.

This enables the customer to use their heating at a cheaper rate, a side benefit of this is their Hot Water power is also charged at a cheaper rate.

More frequently than not we find that customers will need to upgrade their mains cable to allow for the extra power required.

We can accommodate this issue and upgrade the mains cable, earthing, metering and switchboard.

Our preferred panel heaters are Atlantic and Nobo.

Our preferred fan forced heaters are IXL and Pureheat.
